British Woman Rescued in Malawi Police Shootout After Kidnapping
Nusrat Osman, a 47-year-old British woman abducted in Blantyre on September 11, was rescued unharmed on September 18 after police killed four suspected kidnappers in a shootout; a senior officer was wounded and is in stable condition.
